Artificial Intelligence in the Era of Strategic Competition

Join us by submitting your abstracts for a unique interdisciplinary event to connect experts across fields, foster collaboration and simulate learning. Authors of accepted abstracts will have an opportunity to present and showcase their work in a poster session and oral abstract presentation on March 7th, 2024.

The Global National Security Institute (GNSI) in partnership with the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM), Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) and USF Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AI+X) is proud to sponsor the ninth bi-annual conference on The Great Power Competition (GPC), scheduled for March 5-7, 2024, at the Marshall Center on the University of South Florida campus in Tampa, Florida. The revolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) transforms the very nature of great power competition, conflict, and international cooperation. We welcome thoughts and ideas and projects on AI's intersection with various disciplines and topics. Our key areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • AI in Healthcare
  • AI and Space
  • AI and the Government Sector
  • AI Ethics and Policy

Abstract Guidelines:

  • Deadline: 5:00pm EDT, February 2nd, 2024
  • Notification of acceptance: February 9th, 2024
  • Maximum abstract length: 1000 words
